Boxon was Rated as EcoVadis Gold
Boxon is proud to announce that it has been rated as EcoVadis Gold 2023 for its solid sustainability work in the past year. EcoVadis Gold is the recognition for Boxon’s great performance in Environment, Ethics, Labor & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement. It shows Boxon’s commitment and actions for achieving sustainable development.
EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 100,000+ rated companies in over 200 industries and 175 countries. Boxon’s latest Gold rating reflects its commitment to sustainability over the past year as well as the significant progress in sustainability.
EcoVadis Gold means Boxon is among the top 5% of all companies evaluated. EcoVadis covers 21 sustainability criteria in four areas: environment, ethics, labor & human rights, and sustainable procurement. Its methodology is built on international sustainability standards, including Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. EcoVadis Gold means Boxon has been one of the most responsible companies in the world.
“We use EcoVadis to get an independent annual assessment of our sustainability work, and to learn from other companies. We have been assessed by EcoVadis since 2019, and we are very proud of our EcoVadis Gold medal. This shows that we are on the right track, and spurs us on in our ambitious sustainability work,” says Ann-Sofie Gunnarsson, Chief Sustainability Officer at Boxon.
Boxon had set three main sustainability goals that will be achieved by 2025 which is decreasing the total carbon footprint as a company by 30%, increasing the share of packaging solutions based on recycled materials by 30% and staying innovative by introducing new packaging solutions with a climate neutral footprint. Boxon will continue making efforts to create a green and beautiful future.
