Boxon Wins 2024 ScanStar
Boxon Tech AB was just awarded ScanStar 2024 for its FrameTray™ packaging solution.
ScanStar, an annual Nordic competition organized by the Scandinavian Packaging Association (SPA) since 1969, recognizes excellence in packaging design and innovation. The competition is open to all packaging designed, manufactured or used in the Nordic countries. This year’s competition, attracting 39 top Nordic packaging solutions from various sectors including logistics, food and beverage, and gifts, highlighted the best in packaging advancements.
Boxon’s FrameTray™ stands out as an innovative injection-molded packaging system that can be custom-designed to fit different product characteristics, offering secure, reliable, and cost-effective logistical protection. Its notable feature is the closed-loop recycling system, which significantly reduces carbon emissions and supports material reuse from production to reproduction. In 2023 alone, FrameTray™ facilitated the recycling of approximately 5,000 tons of material, underlining its substantial impact on sustainability.
“FrameTray™ is made from mono material and can be recycled unlimited times. It also reduces costs,” commented the ScanStar jury. “A truly circular concept that well deserved the Scanstar.”
